As time has gone by several things can be said about the Chevrolet Lumina APV series: including the strong reaction most buyers have towards their van. The 6-cylinder engine is at the core of the strong emotions, it is reliable for its class and delivers a huge amount of torque.

The restyled Lumina APV CL is equipped with a General Motors 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 12 valves. The Buick engine is paired with a General Motors 4-speed transaxle. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Chevrolet.

For the 1992 Lumina APV, the fuel delivery system is a electronic SFI, using gasoline for fuel. A fuel-injected MFI configuration. The gas tank holds 20.00 gallons.

    There’s no doubt that Chevrolet is up to it’s old tricks with the Lumina APV? I’m hoping next year’s model is improved.
