There’s been a lot of talk about the Chevrolet Lumina APV for 1995. As a leading van in the mini passenger van market the Lumina APV (and in this case specically the LS version) has maintained a high standard. The 3-door Lumina APV is especially appealing to broad audience, making it a perfect van to help Chevrolet as a brand in general.

Chevrolet Lumina APV Engine Specs: The Lumina APV LS comes outfitted with a Chevrolet 3.1 liter, 6-cylinder motor that uses 12 valves. The engine, manufactured by General Motors, is mated to a three-speed transaxle by Hydra-Matic. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Chevrolet.

The Lumina APV LS received a miles-per-gallon rating of nineteen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid van, this was within normal parameters.

Parting Shots

The 1994 model began the promise of the Chevrolet Lumina APV. The 1995 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Chevrolet hopes that the Lumina APV LS will continue to be a profitable vehicle.

I saw the recent news about Chevrolets and their reliability. I personally would check out web sites like edmunds.com and others before I made a choice of a van like the Lumina APV.
